Lead Counselor
Dan is an experienced clinical professional having worked in a multitude of direct client care roles within the treatment industry including: Lead Behavioral Health Technician, Clinical Liaison, and Group Facilitator. Dan’s reputation for building strong trust and rapport combined with his clinical excellence led him to become a part of the WRC family in May of 2021 as a part-time Group Facilitator and ultimately as a Lead Counselor.
As a Lead Counselors, Dan takes an empathetic approach, specializing in motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, anger management, and solution focused counseling. With experience in numerous aspects of the recovery field, Dan has gained years of experience helping dual diagnosis clients who struggle with co-occurring substance abuse and high acuity mental health conditions. Part of Dan’s purpose in life to provide the same guidance and support as others have done for him. Through delivering a message of hope, Dan shows his clients they can live a happy, healthy life. Dan is pursuing a Master’s degree in Social work at the University of Central Florida. Outside of the office Dan loves to play sports with his son and is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. “We are all perfectly, imperfect”.
