In order to provide a comprehensive approach to the treatment provided, Wellness Resource Center is proud to offer varying levels of care to meet our clients’ diverse needs. These levels of care have been separated into three distinct phases to meet the unique needs of every individual that receive treatment at our center in Boca Raton, FL.
Phase I
Phase I: Partial Hospitalization
This phase of treatment includes our day/night treatment with community housing component, also referred to as PHP or Partial Hospitalization. During Phase I, clients are provided clinical services seven days a week. Therapeutic activities are a central component to treatment during this phase, and are provided in the evenings during the week as well as the weekends. Treatment at our center is focused on psychiatric and substance abuse symptomology. The length of time clients stay in this phase is individualized, and can range from 28 days to 120 days of treatment.
Some of the goals of this level of care include the following:
- Helping clients understand the relationship between their presenting issues and the life challenges that they have faced
- Assisting clients in identifying the behavior and tendencies that have promoted or could potentially promote relapse
- Guiding clients as they build skills and learn how to successfully maintain them after returning to the community
- Helping clients learn how to manage the various challenges (emotional, family, social, etc.) that continue to interfere with healthy living
During Phase I, clients do their own grocery shopping, visit an offsite gym near our facility, which is located in Boca Raton, FL, and attend community-based 12-step meetings. This level of programming is staff-supported 24/7 and promotes activities of daily living and reinforces “how to live life on life’s terms.”

Phase II
Phase II: Intensive Outpatient
This level of treatment includes our intensive outpatient program, or IOP. This phase is intended for current Wellness clients as they go through the step-down, reintegration process. The specific hours that clients spend in programming during Phase II will be determined on a case-by-case basis to best meet the needs of each client. The total amount of time spent receiving clinical services each week will vary with the minimum being 9 hours received. During Phase II, clients continue to reside in our center’s client housing, attend part-time treatment, and receive case management while looking for employment. Counseling appointments and assessments are scheduled individually and, during this phase, clients are afforded such privileges as cell phone use and computer/internet access.
The length of stay in Phase II also varies based on each client’s specific needs, yet the average length of stay usually falls between 30 and 60 days. Upon completion of Phase II, clients graduate formal treatment and enter our transitional housing or a recommended local sober living house.
